Job Overview

ArrowXL is seeking a skilled Transport Shift Manager to lead our delivery crews in Worcester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Transport and Service Delivery functions, providing exceptional customer service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate a team of skilled service delivery crews, First Line Managers, and Team Leaders.
  • Optimize fleet utilization, resource planning, and cost control while ensuring compliance and effectiveness.
  • Take lead on legal compliance and safety, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and manage a high-performing team, ensuring colleagues are fully trained in areas such as driver CPC, service delivery standards, and product installation.
  • Make prompt decisions to protect customer service and delivery schedules, remaining commercially focused.
  • Manage on-site resources, including colleagues, vehicles, and equipment, to meet and flex to customer needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum two years' experience in a similar transport management role.
  • Experience and knowledge of improving transport operations and introducing operational excellence.
  • Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and a National CPC.
  • First-class people skills, able to motivate, influence, coach, and develop teams.
  • Full UK driving license.
Package Description
  • 40 hours per week, on a 5/7 rota.
  • Working hours: 06:00 - 14:00.
  • Basic hourly rate of £18.16.
