This is a fantastic opportunity to lead our delivery crews and ensure our customers receive the best quality service.

As a Transport Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our Transport and Service Delivery functions. This includes leading and motivating your team, efficient fleet utilisation, resource planning, and cost control. You will also be responsible for taking lead for legal compliance and safety, identifying opportunities for improved efficiencies, and recommending and implementing changes where needed.

We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of two years' experience employed within a similar transport management role. You will need to have excellent knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and hold a National CPC. First-class people skills are essential, as you will be required to motivate, influence, coach, and develop your teams.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead and motivate your team of skilled service delivery crews, First Line Managers, and Team Leaders
* Efficient fleet utilisation, resource planning, and cost control
* Take lead for legal compliance and safety
* Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and recommend and implement changes where needed
* The resourcing, development, and management of all colleagues within your team
* Make prompt decisions that protect customer service and our delivery schedule, as well as remaining commercially focused
* Manage on-site resources (colleagues, vehicles, and equipment) to ensure we have everything required in the right place at the right time to meet and flex to our customers' changing needs

**Essential Requirements:**

* A minimum of two years' experience employed within a similar transport management role
* Experience and knowledge of improving transport operations and introducing operational excellence
* Excellent knowledge of Road Transport Regulations and hold a National CPC
* First-class people skills, able to motivate, influence, coach, and develop your teams
* Full UK driving licence
