Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation, Control & Automation (ICA) Technician to join our team in the Oxford area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside systems, mechanical, and electrical technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and modification of plant equipment
  • Commissioning of new plant equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in systems and plants
  • Identifying areas for enhancement
Requirements:
  • Experience with PLCs and SCADA systems, communication network systems, and instrumentation including flow, level, pressure etc.
  • HNC level qualification or City and Guilds Part 2 or NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an instrumentation, control and automation discipline.
  • Possession of 1 an 8th Edition (BS7671) qualification and 3-phase electrical knowledge or qualifications.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces with successful completion of the appropriate training.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary up to £45,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
  • Provision of a company van.
  • 38 hours a week, Monday-Friday 7:30 am -3:36 pm.
  • Annual Leave - 24 days holiday per year increasing to 28 with the length of service. (Plus bank holidays)
  • Contributory pension – Defined Contribution - Maximum of 12% -2x employee contribution.
