Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join our client's team in Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for wiring components for bespoke aircraft refuelling vehicles, assembling electrical and pneumatic components onto custom panels, testing work against set standards, diagnosing and resolving electrical faults, and undertaking occasional site work as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have experience in plant engineering, HGV electrics, or similar fields, including ex-forces backgrounds. Key skills include proficiency in using electrical hand tools, ability to work with general hand and power tools, competence in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, basic soldering skills, strong attention to detail, and ability to maintain a tidy workspace.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £25,000 - £34,000 per year, dependent on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, the successful candidate will also receive a range of benefits.
