Senior Staff Nurse

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to provide out-of-hospital services to patients in the community.
This role involves working for a leading healthcare provider, delivering a wide range of services including community nursing, health visiting, and specialist nursing.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Ensure team members are safe with their clinical care skills
- Undertake appraisal and ensure team compliance with policy and procedure guidelines
- Display a person-centred approach, adhering to service criteria to ensure quality standard and delivery of care for patients
- Develop safe clinical skills in a community setting, managing high-intensity users of health and social care services
- Undertake nursing procedures, catheterisation, phlebotomy, IV therapy, and respiratory care in patients' homes
**Preferred Skills and Experience:**
- Experience in respiratory assessment and care
- Experience in caring for frailty patients, including cannulation skills and chest auscultation
- Specialist assessments, such as continence assessments and digital rectal examinations
- Experience of clinical audit
- Community or acute nursing experience
- Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
