Senior Staff Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to join our team in providing out-of-hospital services to patients in the Orpington/Bromley areas.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and dedicated nurse to work for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. As a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a community setting, working closely with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver therapy services for children, young people, and adults.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure team members are safe with their clinical care skills and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Undertake appraisal and ensure team compliance with BHC policy and procedure guidelines.
- Display a person-centred approach, adhering to service criteria to ensure quality standards and delivery of care for patients.
- Develop safe clinical skills in a community setting, proactively managing high-intensity users of health and social care services.
- Undertake nursing procedures, catheterisation, phlebotomy, IV therapy, cannulation, respiratory care, nebuliser weaning, and NEWS2 assessment in patients' homes.
- Proactively monitor and manage a patient caseload, making sound clinical autonomous decisions about patient care and seeking support from colleagues as needed.
- Experience/knowledge in respiratory assessment and care.
- Experience in caring for frailty patients, including cannulation skills and chest auscultation.
- Specialist assessments, such as continence assessments and digital rectal examinations.
- Experience of clinical audit.
- Community or acute nursing experience.
- Experience of working in/with a multi-disciplinary team.
We offer a competitive salary of £38,762 - £45,765 per annum, inclusive of HCAS per annum pro rata.
