Mechanical Workshop Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Workshop Specialist to join our team at Recruit4staff LTD in Liverpool. As part of our workshop team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex machinery, including diggers, JCBs, and crushers.
About the JobThis permanent position comes with a competitive salary of £37,400 per annum (£18 per hour) + overtime. The ideal candidate will work Monday to Friday, 7am-4pm, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. Responsibilities include:
- Maintenance of mechanical equipment, such as compressors, hydraulics, and rotating equipment
- Utilizing portable handheld devices for job allocation
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Mechanical engineering qualifications to Level 3 or equivalent
- Previous experience in repairing plant equipment is highly desirable
- Welding experience is also highly desirable
