About This Role
At Selwood, we're expanding our workshop and depot in Liverpool to meet the growing needs of our business.
We're looking for a skilled Electric Fitter to join our team, with hands-on experience in electric pumps or a similar qualification in mechanical engineering.
As an Electric Fitter, you'll be working in our workshop, repairing and maintaining electric pumps, and replenishing second-hand equipment.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a stable, on-site role with no requirement for call-outs.
Key Requirements
- Demonstrable practical experience in a similar role or environment.
- Previous experience with mechanical and electrical works.
- A comprehensive understanding of electrical health and safety regulations.
- A methodical approach to work, with the ability to manage a daily schedule and ensure high-quality checks.
- Able to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing workload.
- Demonstrable ability to learn and develop knowledge in new areas.
- Previous experience with pump stripping is desirable but not essential.
