Precision CNC Machining Quality Lead

Texo Recruitment is currently seeking a highly skilled Precision CNC Machining Quality Lead to join one of our clients in Cupar, Fife. As a key member of the quality department, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain and improve the calibration system and the overall inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Compile and complete First Article Inspection (FAI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and inspection reports, addressing customer-specific requirements.
- Supervise the goods-in inspection process for various types of plating and subcontracted processes.
- Manage dimensional and visual inspection of critical machined parts for various industries.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing and training Quality Inspectors.
- Extensive experience as a Quality Manager in a precision CNC machining environment.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow customer/company processes.
- Commitment to working safely and proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary.
The estimated salary for this position is around £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a company pension scheme, cycle to work scheme, on-site parking, and long service benefits.
