Precision Machining Role

Our client is looking for a skilled CNC Turner to join their team in Cupar, Fife. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-quality precision components.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £38,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a reputable company and develop your skills in CNC turning.

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and running CNC turning machines to produce precision components
  • Interpreting technical drawings and work orders to determine machining requirements
  • Installing and selecting cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling for each machining job
  • Monitoring machine operations to ensure optimal performance and making necessary adjustments
  • Inspecting finished components using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in CNC turning and setting
  • Proven experience as a CNC Turner, Setter, and Programmer
  • Expertise with CNC Turning Centres, particularly NLX 2500-700 and NLX 2000-500
