About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Control Specialist to join our client's team in Cupar, Fife. As a key member of the Quality Department, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the company's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring all processes, procedures, and records are up-to-date and compliant with relevant industry standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive quality performance, monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting on QMS performance during management reviews.
  • Liaise with accreditation bodies, auditors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with quality standards, facilitating customer visits and site tours to demonstrate the company's commitment to quality.
  • Manage dimensional and visual inspection of critical machined parts for various industries, overseeing First Off and patrol inspections to ensure product quality from start to finish.
  • Compile and complete First Article Inspection (FAI), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and inspection reports, addressing customer-specific requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing and training Quality Inspectors (essential).
  • Extensive experience as a Quality Manager in a precision CNC machining environment (essential).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow customer/company processes (essential).
  • Commitment to working safely and proactively identifying areas for improvement (essential).
