Risk Management Specialist

At Kier Group, we're seeking a skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Leicestershire. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on the Combined Sewer Overflows programme, upgrading assets to meet increasing water system demands.
We estimate this position's annual salary to be around £40,000-£60,000 depending on experience.
Job DescriptionThis role is focused on ensuring safety standards are upheld across our site teams in Leicestershire. As a Risk Management Specialist, you'll provide critical support in managing works on the CSO programme and contribute to the development of risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Promoting Safety, Health, and Welfare best practices among employees and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with operational teams to carry out their roles and SHE responsibilities.
- Developing and reviewing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
- Conducting regular health and safety inspections and audits.
The ideal candidate should hold a full UK driving license and possess a NEBOSH certificate in occupational health & safety, along with membership of relevant professional institutions (e.g., IOSH, IEMA).
