Teaching Assistant Role in Inclusive Primary School
LTF Recruitment is partnering with an inclusive Primary School to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant for their Autism Resource Base. This unique provision supports a class of 7 primary-aged children with complex needs and learning difficulties, integrated within a mainstream school setting.
About the Role:
- Work as part of a close-knit team to support primary-aged pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder and complex needs.
- Deliver personalised assistance and help children access the curriculum through tailored approaches.
- Monitor and record each child's progress and provide updates to the class teacher.
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with children and become a key figure in the learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience working within a primary school environment or with children who have complex needs is desirable.
