CAMHS Specialist Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopment Assessment team in Teesside. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and discussion with young people and their families.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people aged 5-18 years old, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to support young people and their families.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, safe, and effective care.
- Provide supervision, advice, consultation, and training to other team members and partner agencies.
- Postgraduate training in clinical/counselling/forensic psychology, as accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Experience of working with children and young people with ASD and their families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
