CAMHS Specialist Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopment Assessment team in Teesside. As a CAMHS Specialist Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and discussion with young people and their families.
The successful candidate will be joining a well-established community team, working in partnership with our patients, communities, and partners to provide high-quality care. You will be part of a talented and compassionate team who are committed to new thinking that improves the wellbeing of our region.
The role involves working in the community, providing specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and discussion with young people and their families. You will also offer supervision, advice, consultation, and training to other members of the team and our partner agencies.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and discussion with young people and their families.
- Work in partnership with our patients, communities, and partners to provide high-quality care.
- Offer supervision, advice, consultation, and training to other members of the team and our partner agencies.
- Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and undertake care co-ordination/lead practitioner responsibilities.
- Undertake complex multiagency working and liaise with multiple systems.
- Post-graduate training (doctoral level equivalent) in clinical / counselling / forensic psychology (or its equivalent prior to 1996) as accredited by the BPS.
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- Trained in care co-ordination (within agreed timescale).
- Evidence of continuing professional development.
- Trained in clinical supervision (within agreed timescale).
- Registration with BPS.
- Post-graduate qualification showing evidence of supervised practice in an evidence-based psychological therapeutic model.
