The Job Description:

  • Provide individualized support to a child with additional needs in the Reception class.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional growth.
  • Communicate regularly with staff and parents to ensure effective collaboration and support.

Requirements:

  • Experience supporting children in a primary school setting, ideally within Early Years.
  • Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A team player, ready to work collaboratively with staff and families.
  • Relevant qualifications such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
