Academic Support Specialist

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Academic Support Specialist to join our team. This role will involve providing one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions for students up to KS3, with a focus on supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or those on an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tailored learning plans based on each student's unique needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for students.
- Monitor and report on students' progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and confidence.
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with SEN and/or EHCPs.
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 curriculum, whether broad or specialist.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
