Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join our research team at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting innovative research in molecular and cell biology, with a focus on chromatin assembly and inheritance.

You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art techniques, including high-end live cell imaging, genomics technologies, and nanopore long-read sequencing. Our research team is committed to open science and collaborative approaches, fostering a stimulating and inclusive environment for career development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • PhD or DPhil in a relevant field (e.g., molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics)
  • Experience in hypothesis-driven mechanistic research, molecular and cellular biology, genomics, ChIP, and Cut&Run-seq
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
