Cancer Research Scientist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled scientist to join a cutting-edge research programme focused on understanding the cancer biology of the E2F family and its role in immune recognition.
The successful candidate will work closely with a dynamic team led by Professor Nicholas La Thangue, a leader in cancer biology research. The role will involve experimental design, execution, and analysis of data using a broad range of cutting-edge techniques, including proteomics, flow cytometry, and fluorescence microscopy.
To be considered for this role, you will hold a relevant PhD/DPhil (or be close to completion) in cancer biology or a related field, with significant experience in biological, biochemical, and molecular biology research. You should be proficient in techniques for studying protein function, including mass spectrometry and proteomics, and have a solid understanding of cell biology methods such as flow cytometry.
Your ability to design and execute experiments with precision, ensuring the collection of accurate and reproducible data, will be crucial. You will also be comfortable working collaboratively, communicating effectively with both internal team members and external collaborators.
