About This Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced UK Infrastructure Leadership Role holder to lead and manage infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring successful delivery within budget and timeline. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project design, planning, and execution, while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project coordination and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and client requirements
  • Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather data necessary for project design and planning
  • Prepare detailed engineering designs, calculations, and technical specifications for infrastructure projects
  • Collaborate with architects, surveyors, and other engineers to ensure project coordination and integration
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development to secure new business opportunities
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions to ensure project success
  • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements to enhance project delivery and quality

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. You should have circa 8 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on infrastructure design and project management. A proven track record of successfully delivering infrastructure projects within budget and timeline is essential.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design tools
  • Strong understanding of regulatory standards, codes, and guidelines related to infrastructure design and construction
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development

Salary and Benefits
