We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Regional Manager to join our rapidly growing Rail Division in the Wales region. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of Contract Managers and Site Managers to deliver outstanding results across the Wales region. This includes implementing best practices, inspiring safety excellence, negotiating contracts, and meeting budget targets. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the rail industry, with expertise in vegetation clearance projects and contract management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Contract Managers and Site Managers to achieve business objectives and exceed client expectations.
  • Implement effective strategies to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts with new and existing clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on safety performance, profitability, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Director and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and goal alignment.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in a senior operational role within the rail industry, preferably with experience in vegetation clearance projects.
  • Proven track record of delivering exceptional results, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a deep understanding of the rail industry and its complexities.
  • Ability to analyze data and develop strategic recommendations to drive business growth and improvement.
