About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Lead to join our team in the Wales and Western region. As a key member of our engineering leadership team, you will play a crucial role in delivering our safety and performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the Infrastructure Maintenance delivery team in the inspection and maintenance of functional Telecommunications assets to standards and within budget.
  • Develop and agree annual maintenance, inspection, and testing programmes and resource levels.
  • Identify and propose asset renewals.
  • Undertake an agreed programme of safety tours, staff surveillance, work quality, and asset condition checks.
  • Manage the process to handover and accept back assets being renewed, installed, or modified by projects.
Requirements
  • IRSE Licence holder (Signalling & Communications only).
  • Local Accident & Incident Investigation.
  • Good interpersonal, influencing, communication, and organisation skills.
