About the Role

Public Health Wales is recruiting for a Public Health Researcher to join our Research and Evaluation Division. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the development and coordination of our climate change research agenda and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team and external partners.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will map out research priorities and interdisciplinary opportunities, coordinate bid development, and implement impactful research projects. You will work closely with our team to strengthen collaborations and identify new research opportunities.

Requirements

">

To be considered for this role, you must have significant experience leading specialist knowledge in research applied to public health. A Higher Degree with a strong research component and evidence of higher level study in climate change or health behaviour change are also essential. A demonstrated ability to work under pressure, plan and manage own workload and plan work in advance to meet deadlines is desirable.

Salary and Benefits

">

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes 27 days annual leave, flexible working hours, and access to a range of training and development opportunities.
