About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Research and Evaluation Lead to join our Corporate Research and Evaluation team at Companies House. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading research initiatives and providing expertise in social science and policy research methods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement research strategies to support Companies House's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Lead on the delivery of corporate research and evaluation projects, including developing methodologies and overseeing project teams.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify research needs and priorities.
  • Manage a small team of researchers and provide guidance on best practices in research and evaluation.
  • Ensure that all research projects are conducted to the highest standards of quality and ethics.

Requirements

  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in social sciences or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in research and evaluation, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality research projects.
  • Experience in team management and leadership.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
