About the Role:

Torfaen County Borough Council is recruiting a skilled Statistics Researcher to support their research priorities. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills and the ability to collect and present complex data sets.

The successful applicant will work closely with Research Fellows to identify trends and create models, as well as conduct searches for data and information across various sources and systems. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a new research collaborative and make a positive impact on citizens in Torfaen.

The role comes with a range of benefits, including flexible working, family-friendly policies, a generous pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement. We offer a competitive salary: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collect and analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns
  2. Present findings in a clear and concise manner
  3. Work collaboratively with Research Fellows to connect data across Torfaen
  4. Conduct thorough searches for data and information
