About the Role

Pension Insurance Corporation (PIC) is seeking a highly skilled Onboarding Manager to join its Customer Operations function. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for leading the pan-business unit collaboration, communication, and coordination of large and complex deals through deal assessments and subsequent onboarding activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Origination department to analyze the new business pipeline and identify large and complex deals that require business unit assessment and onboarding into PIC's operating model.
  • Lead the assessment of large and complex deals with business units to identify and resolve impediments and complexities.
  • Gain business unit executive member assessment sign-offs.
  • Work with business units to create implementation run books for large and complex deals.
  • Coordinate the pan-business unit execution of each run book implementation, including the resolution of issues identified during execution.
  • Provide weekly progress reporting for each deal implementation to relevant business unit representatives.
  • Maintain process documentation as required for new onboarding processes and existing processes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in Bulk Purchase Annuities, ideally in onboarding or transitions.

You will also need:

  • Good technical knowledge of Bulk Purchase Annuities.
  • Established knowledge of onboarding techniques used for BPAs.
  • Familiarity with Defined Benefit Pensions.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Strong planning skills.
  • Ability to persuade and influence both directly and indirectly.
  • Ability to manage people and their activities effectively.
  • Ability to organize work to meet deadlines.
  • Commercial judgment.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
  • Ability to cultivate strong and trusted relationships with business units.
