Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our Cardiac team at The Harley Street Clinic, a leading provider of private healthcare in the UK. As a Senior Radiographer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic radiography services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality diagnostic radiography services to patients, including cardiac and vascular imaging.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of knowledge and skills in cardiology, radiology, and interventional vascular investigations.
  • Act as a resource within the Cardiac Radiography service, providing professional expertise and guidance to colleagues.
  • Perform a wide range of standard and complex procedures on adults, as requested by clinicians, in all areas of Cardiac and Vascular Radiography.
  • Prepare equipment, ensuring daily checks are carried out on all radiology equipment used in the cardiology department, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Participate in the department's out-of-hours on-call rota.
Requirements
  • HCPC registration as a Radiographer.
  • Extensive experience in Cath Lab procedures, gained post-graduation as a HCPC registered Radiographer.
  • High level of understanding of clinical governance and protocols relating to Cath Labs.
  • Experience working in an Interventional Radiology suite is desirable.
  • Experience using Philips or Siemens systems is desirable.
