PET/CT and CT Clinical Specialist Radiographer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Radiographer to join our team at The Placement Group. As a key member of our Molecular Imaging Department, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of CT and PET/CT scans, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform CT and PET/CT scans to the highest standards, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  2. Act as an Operator under IR(ME)R17, ensuring compliance with legislative and hospital policies.
  3. Ensure quality assurance of equipment is carried out in line with departmental policy, recording and reporting faults in a timely manner.
  4. Liaise with reporting consultants to clarify or discuss requests for complex examinations.
  5. Prioritize patients to ensure optimum efficiency and service quality.
  6. Maintain a high standard of patient care through good clinical practice.
  7. Work unsupervised, seeking advice from the superintendent or medical staff when required.
  8. Rotate between departments as required, assisting with training of new staff and supporting departmental audits.
Requirements:
  1. BSc Radiography or equivalent qualification.
  2. HCPC registration (essential).
  3. Previous senior-level experience with comprehensive post-qualification work experience in CT.
