About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join our dynamic team at Taylor Root in the UK. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in providing expert legal support to our clients across various business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead negotiations on complex commercial contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements for all parties involved.
  • Provide expert guidance on legal matters, including real estate and regulatory compliance, to support our clients' business growth and success.
  • Support the development and implementation of our clients' compliance and ESG programmes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with our clients' General Counsel and business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored legal solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest legal developments and industry trends, applying this knowledge to provide innovative and effective legal advice to our clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of post-qualification experience in an industrial, engineering, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong drafting, negotiating, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex legal concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
