Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel

This is a newly created opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to join a developing legal department of a highly successful and unique business in the West Midlands. The role will be integral to the day-to-day operations and strategy of the business, which covers a broad range of sectors and services.

As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with the General Counsel and wider business, leading on a range of commercial legal projects, including procurement and supply agreements, partnerships, large-scale projects, and governance, compliance, and regulatory areas.

The business has gone from strength to strength in recent years and has ambitious growth plans. This is an incredible opportunity to be a part of the growth and development of the business while gaining experience of technically challenging work and being a core member of a growing and valued legal function.

The role would suit a 6+PQE commercial lawyer, currently working in-house or in private practice, who is looking to take a step up into a more senior role or an existing Senior Legal Counsel seeking a new opportunity. We are keen to hear from individuals with varied commercial contracts experience - experience in wider areas such as governance, compliance, and infrastructure is beneficial but not necessary.

We are looking for a candidate with 6PQE+ sound experience of a broad range of commercial matters and a varied and interactive role. Full-time or part-time (4 days equivalent) applications will be considered. Hybrid working at West Midlands HQ.
