About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Care and Support Coordinator to join our growing team in Golders Green and Hendon. As a key member of our team, you will be required to work individually and as part of a team to support and enable people to live as independently as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Organise activities that individuals want to engage in, such as Jewish activities, exercise, shopping, cooking, music, gardening, and fun
  • Enable meaningful work experience
  • Support with personal care needs
  • Build opportunities and relationships in the local community
  • Show people dignity and respect at all times
  • Strive to provide excellent care and individualised support
  • Work and learn together in innovative and collaborative teams
  • Bring your own interests, creativity, and positivity to engage the people we support

In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism. You will be responsible for working flexible hours, including early and late shifts, sleep-ins, weekends, and bank holidays, in accordance with individuals' needs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must have a good standard of written English and a NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care level 2, Care Certificate or equivalent experience. Experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential. A current full driving licence is also advantageous. Understanding / awareness of or willingness to learn about Jewish culture is essential, as we strive to provide culturally sensitive support.
