We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Homecare Support Coordinator to join our team at Bluebird Care.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and a caring approach. As a Homecare Support Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive high-quality care and support in the comfort of their own homes.

You will work closely with our care assistants, registered managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care schedules, allocate tasks, and ensure seamless delivery of services. Your attention to detail, ability to multitask, and excellent problem-solving skills will be essential in maintaining our high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care Coordination: Work closely with our care assistants and registered managers to coordinate care schedules, allocate tasks, and ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Scheduling and Allocation: Schedule care assistants to provide care and support to customers, taking into account their availability, skills, and experience.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, their families, and representatives to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, care plans, and scheduling.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our office team to maintain efficient operations, resolve issues, and improve services.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a care coordination or similar role.
  • Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a caring approach.
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in social care or a related field.
  • Driving License: Valid driving license with fewer than 6 points.
