PGIM Fixed Income Distressed Credit Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Distressed Credit Associate to join our European Leverage Finance team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and identifying stressed/distressed credit investments across the European leverage finance corporate sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the European high yield market and identify potential distressed credit investment opportunities.
- Conduct thorough financial and valuation analysis of distressed credits, including review of legal documentation and structure.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to develop recommendations for sector portfolio managers on positioning of individual credits within performing and opportunistic client portfolios.
- Support the execution of financial restructurings and interact with internal legal and operations teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required, MBA (or equivalent) or CFA preferred.
- Associate-level experience with exposure to credit analysis at an investment management, financial, or restructuring advisory firm.
- Strong financial modeling skills, robust knowledge of accounting concepts, and a basic understanding of High Yield credit documentation.
- Attention to detail, analytical rigor, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in a European language in addition to English.
