About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team in Blackburn. This is a 9-month contract position with potential for permanency, working closely with our clients in the area.

The successful candidate will have experience in monthly payroll production and maintenance, providing a point of contact for associates and others, and covering routine system processing.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Production and maintenance of monthly payrolls
  • Communication with associates and other stakeholders
  • System processing and data management
  • Support with projects and ad-hoc tasks
  • Distribution of payment reports and management of returns
  • Cash book reconciliation and non-compliance reporting

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Word, Excel, and Payroll systems, as well as numeracy with issue investigation and resolution skills, and customer service telephone skills.

Salary: Estimated £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
