Job Title: Senior Planning Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Officer to join our team at HR EMPLOYMENT BUREAU LIMITED. As a key member of our Planning Service, you will be responsible for carrying out monitoring functions and producing reports analysing the results, including monitoring the Local Plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide good quality and up-to-date advice on planning policy issues.
  • Carry out monitoring functions for the Planning Service and produce reports analysing the results.
  • Monitor the Local Plan and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community groups and local authorities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • Possess knowledge on UK town planning procedures.
  • Experience of planning policy work either in a local authority or private practice in the UK.
  • Clear communication skills verbally and written.
  • Report Writing.
  • Competent on Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point & Teams.
  • Valid driving license, able to attend meetings and site visits throughout the Rugby borough.
