About the Role

We are looking to add to our highly successful New Homes team to provide high level Conveyancing support to the wider team. The successful candidate will assist with the opening of client matters, prepare and send quotes for legal work, check and verify client identification, and ensure compliance with service standard requirements.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist with the opening of client matters manually and through various computer systems.
  • Prepare and send quotes for legal work.
  • Check and verify client identification.
  • Send out client care documentation and check incoming and outgoing documents for completeness and accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with service standard requirements, including keeping up to date with compliance issues.
  • Undertake specific training when required and have a responsibility towards self-development.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of all the Firm's and client's documentation and information.
  • Provide assistance with the processing of the Team's conveyancing matters.
  • Use the case management system to carry out tasks assigned by members of the teams.
  • Assist in keeping the files on the case management system up to date, accurate and effective.
  • Answer and make telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Previous experience of conveyancing work is desirable.
  • Confident in using a broad range of digital technologies.
  • Ability to cope with changing levels of workloads.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Understanding of the link between own/team performance and the overall success of the Firm.
