Freight Transport Specialist

As a Freight Transport Specialist at beBee Professionals, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to customers across various locations in Finchley, United Kingdom. This role requires excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Estimated Salary: £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus company benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Drive and deliver goods to customers using a company vehicle, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
- Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring minimal damage to items.
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules accurately to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain the delivery vehicle in good working condition, adhering to regular maintenance schedules.
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery times and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Complete accurate delivery records and paperwork, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery operations and exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driver's license (Category B or higher).
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within the logistics industry.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deliveries efficiently.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet customer demands.
