Job Summary:

Blue Legal is seeking a highly skilled Senior New Business Manager to lead and develop business development and new business initiatives across our People Platform. This role will involve working closely with our marketing team and collaborating with senior stakeholders to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Strategic Business Development Plans: Create and execute strategic plans to drive business growth, aligning with our firm's goals and advising our fee earners.
  • Collaborate with Senior Stakeholders: Work closely with our Platform Head and Group Champions to identify and launch new products and services that integrate our legal and advisory offerings.
  • Drive Effective Pitches and Proposals: Develop and produce targeted sales messages, train fee earners to identify new business opportunities, and prioritize activities with work referrers and third-party partners.
  • Manage Events and Cross-Selling: Target events at the right attendees, set clear objectives, and ensure robust follow-up in collaboration with our Events Team. Identify and execute cross-selling within the group, ensuring a coordinated approach with our Client Experience team and other Senior New Business Managers.

Requirements:

  • Business Development Experience: Extensive experience in business development, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong Project Planning and Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex marketing concepts to diverse stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborative and Proactive: Collaborative, flexible, and proactive, with a 'can-do' attitude and the ability to build trusted relationships with C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven Line Management Experience: Proven experience in line management and the ability to drive strategic initiatives.

Important Note: Due to the specific sectors we work in, only candidates with valid work experience in a Law Firm, Accountancy Firm, Management Consultancy, Property/Construction Firm, Financial Services Firm, or a high-profile relevant Association or Agency will be considered.
