HR Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Advisor to join our team at Reed. As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Department in Aberdeen, working closely with the HR leadership team to drive business objectives and improve employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement effective absence management strategies, ensuring seamless integration with medical and occupational health providers.
- Manage and document personal injury and insurance claims, collaborating with the company's insurers to ensure efficient resolution.
- Design and implement employee engagement initiatives, evaluating employee motivation, commitment, and organizational culture to inform recommendations.
- Support the HR leadership team in rolling out HR initiatives aligned with the company's strategic and operational goals.
- Contribute to the development and revision of HR policy documents and procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Advocate for and advance digitalization and automation initiatives within the HR Department, driving process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to the HR team, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the HR leadership team, ensuring seamless support to the business.
- Significant experience in a HR advisory role (3-5 years)
- Proven experience in handling complex HR casework, including redundancy, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
- Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Digitalisation experience/ Automation implementation (advantageous)
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law.
- Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- CIPD (advantageous)
- Monday to Thursday, 8.30pm with 30 minutes lunch (flexible to move to 8.00)
- Company bonus: Yes, discretionary 2 x per year (additional 2 months' salary)
