Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Occupational Therapist to provide specialist neurological rehabilitation services to patients with stroke and other neurological conditions.

The successful candidate will have experience of working with neurological patients in delivery of rehabilitation packages or in a rehab setting at Band 5 level. They should also have documented evidence of professional development and reflective practice in relevant aspects of neurological rehabilitation.

This is a full-time position of 37 hours per week, with a salary of approximately £38,890 - £44,414 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Take an active role in discharge planning and order suitable equipment as appropriate.
  2. Advise and educate patients and carers on their condition and treatment plan.
  3. Address language barriers and consider cultural diversity in patient care.
  4. Manage clinical risk within the caseload and maintain accurate patient records.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Registration with the HCPC.
  • Experience of working in a neurological rehabilitation setting at Band 5 level.
  • Documented evidence of professional development and reflective practice in neurological rehabilitation.
