About the Role

Our client, a leading retail business, is seeking a People Business Partner to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. This role will act as a trusted partner to senior stakeholders, cultivating an agile, high-performing culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze data and reporting to identify insights and trends, incorporating them into the directorate's people plan.
  • Build and develop high-performing teams by delivering a robust talent process that identifies gaps and supports development and succession planning.
  • Foster an effective performance management culture, educating managers on how to effectively performance manage with realistic objectives and tangible measures.
  • Work in partnership with the employee relations team to coach and guide leaders through complex ER cases, mitigating risk to the business.
Requirements

We are looking for dynamic HR Business Partners with a solutions-focused approach, concise and articulate communication style, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, commercial environment.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong track record in managing and driving HR strategy in a fast-paced, complex environment, as well as effectively supporting a business unit through operational change.

Ideal candidates will have experience operating within the retail industry and a good knowledge of the role and challenges of IT, digital, and social media within a retail business.
