Waking Night Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Nights Support Worker to join our team at CareTech Group. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
Our home in Birmingham is rated Good in all areas with OFSTED and has an excellent reputation with the local authorities. We provide a nurturing and supportive environment for our young people, and we are committed to empowering them to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized care and support to children with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Support children with communication and behavioral challenges
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
- Experience working with children with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs (preferred but not essential)
- Level 3 Children's and Young People's Award or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work unsociable hours, including evenings, nights, and weekends
- Driver's license (company provides a car during working hours)
