Jackson Hogg Procurement is partnering with a leading organisation in Northumberland to appoint a Project Buyer to join their purchasing team. This is a full-time and permanent role offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, equipment, and services essential to offshore projects. They will ensure that procurement activities are aligned with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards while complying with industry regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

* Source and qualify new suppliers, carrying out competitive sourcing and tendering for projects and assets.

* Negotiate for the best fit and optimum costs commensurate with quality, reliability, and delivery.

* Ensure continuous monitoring of lead times and expedite where required.

* Operational procurement from requests for quotes to evaluations and negotiations.
