About the Role

We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive individuals to deliver a range of engaging sessions designed to get individuals of all ages and abilities more active across the East Riding.

As a casual lead coach, you will be responsible for planning and facilitating activities for young people, adults, and vulnerable groups as part of our promoting independence and community build programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver positive lifestyle programmes to reduce anti-social behaviour, build confidence, and promote physical activity.
  • Develop and deliver healthy schools programmes to engage young people and promote physical activity.
  • Lead community sessions to engage young people, adults, and vulnerable groups.
  • Develop and deliver active coast programmes to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
  • Additional duties include developing session plans, completing participant registrations, and recording session feedback.

We are looking for individuals who believe in the power of physical activity to improve health and wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • A flexible and enthusiastic approach to delivering sport and physical activities.
  • A level 2 qualification in sport, fitness, youth work, play work, or an equivalent field.
  • Recent safeguarding and emergency first aid qualifications.
  • Experience in delivering activities across various settings, including schools, leisure centres, and community venues.
  • Experience working with diverse groups, including young people, families, adults, and vulnerable individuals.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work daytime, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • A full driving licence and access to a car to attend sessions across the East Riding.
  • Commitment to safeguarding.
