Job Description

The role of a Physiotherapy Department Administrator is to provide an efficient patient administration service within the Physiotherapy department. This includes overseeing the accurate completion of all charge sheets, managing outpatient clinics, and maintaining electronic and manual filing systems.

A key aspect of this role is providing general administrative support to the Head of Department and Lead Physiotherapists. This involves responding to enquiries from patients, consultants, and clinical teams in a timely and courteous manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing patient referral letters and associated documentation, as well as organizing and managing the Physiotherapy team's Outpatient clinics.

  • Good standard of secondary education with demonstrable literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally
  • Strong focus on delivering and meeting customer expectations
  • Confident telephone manner with the ability to communicate with a wide range of customers at all levels
