We are seeking a skilled Workforce Systems Administrator to join our team at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity to provide support and maintenance of the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) System and Registration Authority.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring data quality is of the highest standard and supporting other Workforce Systems used within the Trust. The ESR System contains all of our people's information, including position details, organisation hierarchy, payroll, EDI, annual leave, sickness, etc.

The ideal candidate will have some knowledge of ESR and experience working within the NHS, preferably in an acute Trust. They should also have an understanding of NHS jargon and organisational structure in Healthcare environments. A good grasp of Information Governance is essential due to the high level of sensitive information the post holder will be exposed to.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain the Electronic Staff Record (ESR) System and Registration Authority.
  • Ensure data quality is of the highest standard.
  • Support other Workforce Systems used within the Trust.
  • Manage smartcards for staff access to clinical systems.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Workforce Systems Lead and be accountable to the Workforce Systems & Intelligence Manager. This role requires excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and HR databases.

Requirements
  • Educated to post GCSE level.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Staff Records (ESR) in an acute NHS Setting.
  • NHS Registration Authority smartcard administration experience.
