Job Summary

As a Mechanical Engineer in our New Product Development Team, you will play a key role in developing and delivering commercially viable products/projects that align with our company's growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities

* Apply your knowledge in material selection, pressure vessel design, manufacturing/fabrication methods, structural design and analysis, vibration analysis and mitigation, pipe stress analysis, and cryogenic piping applications.
* Originator/check/approve responsibilities for project deliverables, including piping isometrics, system drawings, bill of materials, engineering analysis work, and reports.
* Work collaboratively with designers to deliver clear and concise mark-ups for quality final drawings.
* Streamline the iterative design process with piping designers for the completion of pipe stress analysis (PSA) work.

Requirements

* Industry experience (preferably marine) but would consider experience from other industries such as water, wastewater, power, pharmaceutical, drinks, or food industry.
* Competent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) plus design and analysis software packages (MathCAD, Bentley AutoPipe, STAAD).
* An engineering degree (preferably MEng) in Mechanical Engineering.
* Chartered engineering status (or working towards) with the IMechE.
