Babcock is a leading provider of engineering services, and we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Rosyth. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems that meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems, including mechanical components, assemblies, and sub-assemblies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical systems meet project requirements and specifications
  • Conduct site visits to inspect and troubleshoot mechanical systems
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and maintenance procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mechanical engineering

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including design, development, and testing
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
