Our client is a renowned Scottish Engineering SME with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality, bespoke equipment. They have an extensive design and manufacturing capability, with a great working culture. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of production control systems and subsea assemblies for a global client base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop engineering calculation packages to validate designs using hand calculations and FEA software
  • Create 3D concept designs based on client specifications
  • Review and approve fabrication/manufacture/assembly drawings
  • Generate test procedures and operation manuals for equipment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in design of fabricated structures for offshore/subsea environments to DNV standards
  • Proficiency in modelling software (Solidworks and AutoCAD) and FEA software (Solidworks or ANSYS)
