The successful candidate will be responsible for leading design and manufacturing projects, working closely with clients and internal stakeholders to deliver projects to the highest standards. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the growth and success of the organisation.

The role will involve:

  • Leading design and manufacturing projects from concept to delivery
  • Collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
  • Developing and maintaining technical expertise in mechanical design and manufacturing
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members
  • Contributing to the development of the organisation's design and manufacturing capabilities

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in design and manufacturing
  • Experience in design and manufacturing of fabricated structures for offshore and subsea environments
  • Experience using modelling software (Solidworks and AutoCAD) and FEA software (Solidworks or ANSYS)
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic drive systems, subsea controls systems, and ATEX design
